When we build your website

The PoPIt Preview, free with your quote

Before you commit to anything, you see a first look at your home page, the pages we would build and a quick look at three local competitors. It costs you nothing.

Live 6 to 8 weeks after you say yes

The launch date goes in writing the day you accept your Preview, with design sign-off counted in. It holds as long as your words and feedback reach us on the dates we agree.

One price covers your first year

The build, then 12 months of SEO, support and standard hosting on Amazon Web Services (AWS), with no separate bills. If anything goes wrong in that year, we fix it. Shopify shops are hosted by Shopify.

You only pay when you're happy

The Preview is free. After that, every payment follows a yes from you, and the last one is only due when you're happy with the finished site and it goes live.

The price, up front

Our prices are on this site and the calculator gives you a figure now. There is no quote for a quote.

No lock-in

The site is yours. After the first year, we help you move it into an AWS account in your name, or keep looking after it.

Online shops: your questions

Shopify or WooCommerce?

Shopify if you want it to just work and do not mind a monthly fee. WooCommerce if you already have a WordPress site, sell something unusual, or need it to do something specific. We will recommend one after a conversation about how you run things.

How much does an online shop cost?

From £4,750 for a straightforward shop. Larger catalogues, stock integrations and trade pricing push it higher. The calculator on our pricing page gives a realistic band.

What are the ongoing costs?

A Shopify shop is hosted by Shopify on the monthly plan you pay them for, so our included AWS hosting does not apply to it. A WooCommerce shop gets 12 months of standard hosting on AWS like every other site we build, and if a busy shop needs more than standard hosting, that cost is in the quote. Either way, SEO and support are included for the first 12 months, and card fees go to your payment provider. The quote lists every running cost, so there are no surprises in month two.
